Mount Huffinpuff is a place from True and the Rainbow Kingdom. It is a sentient volcano visited during the episode of the same name.

Description

Mount Huffinpuff is a relatively tall mountain, though smaller than real volcanos, having a face. Their mouth and eyes are orange, the latter having yellow pupils.

History

Mount Huffinpuff makes their debut in the episode of the same name as the unwitting titular antagonist, where True, Bartleby, and some Yetis find their path blocked by a fallen tree. One Yeti removes the tree, although he throws it into a hole in Mount Huffinpuff's side, causing them great pain. The sentient volcano attempts to eject the trunk to no avail, causing earthquakes near the spring. One of the Yeti kids gets sent flying by the jet of a geyser, landing on the tree which leads the gang to head over there to make sure he is okay. Another Yeti tries to remove the fallen tree from the hole, causing the sentient volcano more pain when she fails.

Meanwhile, True, having changed back to her standard getup, goes to ask the mountain what happened, but Huffinpuff starts to erupt lava from their eyes while the Yeti pulling on the tree rocks it back and forth. True, fearing that this lava will destroy the Neverending Forest, summons Cumulo, using him as a steed to visit The Wishing Tree, where she and Zee (who found out about the interruption with a magic bubble) discuss how to stop this disaster. Zee entrusts her with three Wishes to save the day: Thermo (who is resistant to temperature extremes and can allow others who touch him to gain said resistance), Diggy-dug (who is able to dig tunnels and loves getting dirty), and Elongy (who can stretch).

When True returns, Thermo becomes a surfboard, using his temperature resistance powers to keep the gang from getting burned by the lava, and the gang rides on his back to escape, although they crash. Diggy-dug, after the gang recovers from their crash-landing, digs a massive hole in the lava's path with his powers. True then returns to the mountain to summon Elongy. The stretchy Wish plugs up Huffinpuff's crater with his stretchy body, generating enough pressure to allow Mount Huffinpuff to blow the stuck tree out of the hole at their base.

Trivia

  • Mount Huffinpuff is similar to the mountain from Adventure Time that appeared in an episode where Finn and Jake had to help him avoid having to see some roughhousing men.
