Welcome to the True and the Rainbow Kingdom Wiki, a collaborative encyclopedia about the Netflix-original Canadian children's TV series True and the Rainbow Kingdom, which began on August 11, 2017. Princess Grizbot True Characters True toys: The first look Featured episode (August 2019) Super Duper Dance Party Season 1 episode 1 "Super Duper Dance Party" is the first episode in Season 1 of True and the Rainbow Kingdom, and it is the first episode overall. The King's Super Duper Dance Party at the Colorseum is something the entire Kingdom looks forward to, and True has invited the best DJ around to play the event: DJ Bingo-Bango! But on route to Rainbow City, Grizelda diverts Bingo Bango to play some impromptu music to help her with her dance routine. Bingo Bango can’t seem to please the nitpicky Grizelda with his tunes, and his confidence shatters. He feels like he's just not good enough to play the big Super Duper Dance Party. When True discovers what happened to Bingo Bango, she knows she has to act fast to boost the DJ's confidence before he gets on a bus to go back home. With Zee's help at the Wishing Tree, True gets three Wishes to help her with this task. She uses a wiggly wish to get Bingo Bango laughing and brighten his mood, then uses her metronome wish to keep a beat so she and Bartleby can do an impromptu jam with him. Bingo Bango's confidence returns and he’s ready to play! But when they get to the Colorseum, the audience has left, thinking the concert is off. So True uses her last wish, an amplifier wish, to spread Bingo Bango's music throughout the Kingdom to let people know the show is back on. Citizens rush back to the arena, and everyone enjoys the Super Duper Dance Party. Read more here... Featured character (August 2019) Stinko Minor character in True and the Rainbow Kingdom Stinko is Mila's pet who debuted in "A Royal Stink". Stinko is happy as Mila's pet and is playful, but unaware of his awful stench. The only one that can tolerate his presence is Mila as she experiences nasal congestion. He is very large, yellow in color, and has eight legs. He has what appears to be green goo on his head with mushrooms growing from it. Read more here... News & more (10/23/2023): It is apparent that True and the Rainbow Kingdom is finished and will likely not release any new episodes. (8/2/2019): This month, True and the Rainbow Kingdom celebrates its second anniversary! On August 20, this wiki will have its second anniversary. Also, a new set of episodes called "Wild Wild Yetis" will premiere on Netflix on August 30! (5/29/2019): True and the Rainbow Kingdom won the Award of Excellence for Best Preschool Series from Youth Media Alliance! (5/3/2019): Part of Season 3, known as "Mushroom Town" is now available to stream on Netflix! (2/18/2019): Our wiki’s URL has been updated by FANDOM. We are now primarily accessed at true-and-the-rainbow-kingdom.fandom.com. Nothing else will change on our wiki other than this. Thank you! (10/2/2018): A fourth season has been confirmed by Netflix! Read more here! (10/1/2018): In late-September 2018, Guru Studio announced that due to Toy State's closure, Aurora World will be taking over as its plush toy developer. The plush line will be introduced in the US and Canada in Autumn 2019. However, even though Toy State has ceased trading, its toy line will still be heading to Canadian Walmart stores beginning this month. As of August 16, 2018, True and the Rainbow Kingdom characters are available for use as Netflix profile icons. Users can select True, Bartleby, Grizelda, Frookie, the Rainbow King, Zee, or The Wishing Tree as their icon. Season 2 is now officially on Netflix under two chapters: True: Magical Friends & True: Wonderful Wishes! Dance & Sing with True, a compilation of songs from True and the Rainbow Kingdom, premiered on Netflix on May 18, 2018! Additional songs from Season 2 were released on December 15, 2018. As of February 4, 2018, True and the Rainbow Kingdom is now airing in Canada on ICI Radio-Canada Télé! It also began airing on CBC on March 24, 2018 (source). Also, Season 3 has been confirmed! On November 23, 2017, True and the Rainbow Kingdom was given the Common Sense Media seal for exceptional family television.
