The yetis are large creatures that live in Yeti Village found in the Neverending Forest.

They are known to hibernate in the winter.

They are very afraid of the dark and won’t come out of their homes once the sun goes down. However, if the moon is full or creating enough light, they will come outside and howl at the moon.

Personality

The yetis are very curious and playful. They seem to fit the "gentle giant" personality, even though they can be a bit rough at times (eg. using Bartleby as an impromptu bowling ball in "Wishing Heart Hollow"). They have a very large appetite and can ingest entire baskets of food at once. When communicating with others, they almost always say "hi!" According to the Rainbow King, they hibernate during the winter and wake up in the spring. Upon waking from their hibernation, they are very hungry for nummle berries.

Appearance

The yetis are large in size. They have periwinkle fur and light blue eyebrows. They have no hair on their hands and feet and seem to have most of their hair on their torso and head.

There is a yeti family of five:

• Snick - wife and mother of triplets
• Urg - husband and father of triplets
• Grock - 1st born triplet, female
• Floof - 2nd born triplet, male
• Yerck - 3rd born triplet, female

Trivia

• In "A Berry Big Mystery", True taught them how to plant their own nummle berries so they wouldn't have to steal the other ones in the Rainbow Kingdom after their waking from hibernation.

• Both male and female yetis exist, however their physical appearances are exactly the same. This makes them hard to tell apart unless the yeti is wearing an accessory.
